Old Sessions New Releases

Since early 2016 I have systematically sought out new releases from within Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’; something I called the Spotify music ‘dump’.

I was greatly assisted by a now defunct website run by a then Spotify engineer that listed all the new releases by genre, and most importantly, by country of origin.

I ran a number of simple blogs under the domain name Streamusique.com. I posted to a number of different blogging platforms that now no longer exist, except the last one before this that is hosted on the old Google Blogger.com site.

For many complicated reasons I have decided to use my domain name instead of Streamusique, which is the why behind the link to that last site here.

The playlists section links to Spotify lists that more or less correspond to the ‘lost’ selections from the early blogging platforms.

Although the frankly really crap way Spotify handles playlist management means there is a hole from March 2022 to December, then a huge dump list from that date to June 2024.

Not very useful, and no idea how it came about, but here it is.
